The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) is a leading Business School in Sydney, teaching a balance of management and practical training within a culture or training and entrepreneurial ism. Founded in 1996, ICMS is a leader in career-focused, quality education and offers undergraduate bachelor’s and postgraduate master’s degrees. ICMS degrees are at the same Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level as University degrees and are equal to University degrees on the AQF.

Campuses:

ICMS has a three campuses. There is no campus in Sydney as beautiful as the ICMS ‘Castle Campus’ in the beachside suburb of Manly, which is located 17 minutes by fast ferry from the city of Sydney. The iconic traditional sandstone Northern Beaches Campus, affectionately called the “castle on the hill”, is a beautiful 19th century stone building with superb facilities on site, including libraries, computer laboratories, tennis and basketball courts, as well as wireless internet throughout the campus. Ocean panorama, parklands, and the cityscape are all part of the view from the commanding sandstone building that is home to ICMS.

Alternatively, students may wish to study at the convenient and central City Campus, in the heart of Sydney. Both offer spectacular study locations that would be hard to beat anywhere in the world.

ICMS offers everything that a traditional student experience provides, such as sporting teams, student clubs, campus facilities and on and off campus accommodation. In addition to the classrooms and lecture theatres where you will gain your formal education, you have access to outdoor study areas in tranquil gardens and a comprehensive library which includes rooms for group study and meetings.

Academic Requirements:

      1.Master of Business Administration

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum percentage of 60%.
  • At least three years relevant professional work experience.
  • Written Statement of Purpose and Letter of Recommendation.

       *Students with less academic and English requirements could apply to our Graduate Certificate of Business Administration leading to our MBA Program.

       2. Master of International Business and Master of Management

  • Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with a minimum percentage of 60%.

       *Students with less academic and English requirements could apply to our Graduate Certificate of Business leading to our Master Programs.

       3.Graduate Certificate of Business Administration

  • Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with at least second class.
  • Relevant professional work experience.
  • Written Statement of Purpose and Letter of Recommendation.

       4.Graduate Certificate of Business

  • Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with at least second class.

       5.Undergraduate Programmes

  • Successful completion of All India Senior School Certificate or Indian School Certificate with an overall grade point average of at least 60% in best 4 subjects, excluding local language; or successful completion of Senior Secondary Certificate (State Boards) with an average score of at least 70% in best 4 subjects excluding local language.

Scholarship:

The ICMS Undergraduate and Postgraduate Innovation Scholarship offers a tuition waiver to the value of UP TO four (4) subjects. This Scholarship value is up to AUD15,000.

Cost of Living:

There are lots of things, apart for your tuition fees, that you need to budget for before you move to host country/city. The cost of living in Australia depends on many varying factors such as choice of accommodation, location and individual students’ spending habits and your lifestyle. ICMS offers on- and off-campus accommodation at various locations in and around Manly. Also a low-budget short term accommodation before and/or after your stay at ICMS there are multiple options in the Manly area. The table below is provided as a guide only to some estimated expenses:

Work Opportunities in Australia:

International students who study in Australia are permitted to work while they study. Wages in Australia are generally higher and unemployment levels are generally lower than those in many other countries. Minimum wage levels are strictly enforced for all types of jobs and all international students are protected by fair-work laws so have the same workplace protections as anyone in Australia. Part-time or casual work will assist you to help you with the funds needed to live and study in Australia. The minimum wage in Australia is AUD 22 per hour. You can work up to 40 hours a fortnight during the term and unlimited during term breaks.
